My house is a renovated 1903 Victorian structure that once served as the law office for the late Senator Russell's grandfather. It was moved to my property and transformed into my home around 2008.
The house retains many of the original architectural elements, but the "new" second floor has a more contemporary, "mountain" feel. It sits on 4.45 wooded acres, with plenty of parking and privacy for crew and equipment. Winterville is a small town in Clarke County, but please note the house is just across the county line in Oglethorpe, seven miles and a 12-minute drive from Athens, a university town, and a hub of creative activity providing abundant services.
Because the woods behind the house was once used for an outdoor market, there's ample access to power and water. There are two small barns — one old, one new — out back too!
